Mike Oehler

Mike Oehler (born January 2, 1938 in Chicago; pronounced /ˈeɪlɚ/ [ay-lur]) was a natural builder, author, and instructor on the topics of natural building, Earth sheltered building, underground greenhouses and off-the-grid living.

Oehler lived on a 40-acre homestead in the Idaho mountains and was part of the 1960's Back to the Land movement. He wrote numerous books, and appeared as a university lecturer, and TV and radio guest.[1][2]
